First concert together in Italy for one of the world’s most delightful opera-couple, Jessica Pratt and Michael Spyres.
On January 18, at Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova, the couple has performed with a programme that included several Belcanto gems alongside other masterpieces of Verdi and Offenbach. The conductor’s podium was occupied by Andriy Yurkevich.
During the evening, the primadonna wore two gowns: the first dark-grey with a precious pink stole embellished with gold embroidery and the second night-blue color with a tone-sur-ton stole. The two gowns were accessorised with delightful necklace, earrings, ring and bracelet from D’Orica, the Italian goldsmith atelier of which the Australian soprano is ambassador.
“We’re honoured to see Jessica Pratt, marvellous singer of Italian Belcanto, wear our jewellery. For her we have customised a necklace from the collection “Mani d’Oro” (Golden Hands). This piece of jewellery is a unique and exclusive object, created by highly skilled artisans: each element of the necklace is sewn with needle and gold thread” – Daniela Raccanello, creative director, declared to Operafashion.
A charming diva and a great success for her!
