Eleonora Buratto: two nights at Teatro San Carlo for Verdi’s Requiem

The Messa da Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi was the main event of the 2018/2019 concert season of the Teatro San Carlo in Naples. On Friday 19 and Saturday 20 October, the Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro di San Carlo conducted by Maestro Juraj Valčuha accompanied prestigious soloists in the Verdi masterpiece: the soprano Eleonora Buratto and the mezzo-soprano Veronica Simeoni, the tenor Antonio Poli and the bass Riccardo Zanellato.

Eleonora Buratto attended the two events wearing polished and elegant outfits.

She wore a black gown custom-made by fashion designer Freddy Gaviria, featuring an off-shoulder neckline emphasized by a contrasting white band and a pleated A-line skirt with a lovely sweep train. The dress was accessorised with fabulous pieces from Cartier’s Evasions Joaillieres collection: white gold full diamond pave and white pearl drop earrings.

For the second evening she wore the Rosellina Georgette gown by Chiara Boni-La Petite Robe. The dress had a V-neckline, long tulle sleeves and asymmetrical skirt. Once again, it was accessorised with Cartier pieces: Agrafe necklace and earrings in pink gold and brilliant-cut diamonds. A charming diva!
