On August 31 at Gstaad Menuhin Festival, warm success for Olga Peretyatko and Juan Diego Florez. With the assistance of “Scintilla”, the Baroque ensemble from the Zurich Opera, under the direction of Riccardo Minasi, the two stunning opera-stars took us on a musical journey to the heart of the Alps with Rossini’s “William Tell”, Donizetti’s “Linda di Chamonix” and Bellini’s “La Sonnambula”.
For the concert, the primadonna presented herself to the audience with two dresses from the Swiss couturier Raphael Blechschmidt, known for his imaginative creations, which are tailor-made with the finesst fabrics. The first dress can be considered a work of art: inspired by the Rhinopia fish, it has a specially embroidered fabric with reflections of fish on the water.
The second was an A-line black dress with a purple-blue lace illusion bodice for a truly sublime ambiance.
All the jewels were exclusive Garbo creations, one of the world’s finest jewellery houses: flowers collier and coordinated earrings in white gold and diamonds and Kokoshnik ring for the first dress; ring and earrings in white gold, tanzanite and diamonds for the second dress. Terrific!
