A trendy baritone: Vittorio Prato

Considered one of the most interesting baritones of his generation, Vittorio Prato is not only a talented artist but also a handsome and modern young man who loves following fashion.

Before debuting at the Teatro Regio in Turin in the role of Count Gil – in a very successful production of “Il segreto di Susanna” by Wolf-Ferrari, alongside a primadonna like Anna Caterina Antonacci – Vittorio had fun as the protagonist of a photoshoot by Gianluca Simoni, wearing the creations of his favorite fashion house: Missoni.

“I had the great pleasure of meeting Rosita, Luca and Angela Missoni in Japan, where I was performing in the show “Japan Orfeo”, a magical connection between the music of the supreme Monteverdi and the arts and traditions of Japanese culture. This production marked my debut in Asia as a protagonist. Wearing the wonderful Missoni costumes contributed to the success of a show of immense value, aired on Japanese national TV; the imperial family attended too!”, the baritone explained to Operafashion.

The art and creativity of Angela and Luca Missoni, the chromatic explosion and the skillful craftsmanship of their creations have bewitched Vittorio who, for the photoshoot, chose to wear knitted garments in a perfect Missoni style.
