The Echo Klassik is the most important German music award in the classical field. The coveted trophy, which gives the Federation of the Phonographic Industry every year for new CDs, were awarded in 22 categories to 57 winners.
On October 29th , the Echo Klassik 2017 was awarded at the Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall in Hamburg. Also this year, meets the award the international classical music elite, including international stars such as Pretty Yende, who took the prize as Newcomer Singer.
For the red carpet and award reciving, the Southafrican soprano wore a glam evening gown from Mac Duggal Couture. Strapless, this dress has a pronounced sweetheart shape. The bodice has a faux wrap detail and a smattering of sequins. Lace floral overlay works throughout the gown. The skirt has a column silhouette with billowing flyaway fabric.
