First concert in Hungary for the world’s most delightful opera-couple, Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov her Azerbaijani husband.
On September 29, at the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall, the couple has performed with a programme that included several Puccini gems alongside other masterpieces of opera verista. In addition to the irrepressible melodies of Boito, Cilea, Giordani, Leoncavallo, Mascagni and Ponchielli. The conductor’s podium was occupied by Jader Bignamini.
During the evening, the primadonna wore two gowns designed especially for her by Slovakian fashion-designer Boris Hanecka. The first was a black-white silk chiffon dress with high waist deep V-neckline and shoulders covered by black chiffon cape.
The second was a strapless ball gown with fit-and-flare silhouette and hem falls to floor. It is composed of three types of silk fabric; two sapphire blue bands make up the neckline and down along the skirt. Earrings in white gold and diamonds by Chopard – Green Carpet Collection.
Two exquisite gowns!
