Yesterday evening was held one of unmissable events of the season at Theatre des Champs Elysées in Paris: Juan Diego Flórez and Joyce DiDonato embody the impossible love of Werther and Charlotte, under the direction of maestro Jacques Lacombe.
For this Massenet’s Werther in concert version, the American diva has worn an emerald green silk taffeta draped ball-gown by Monique Lhuillier. To complete the outfit, a three-strand necklace with silver irregular stones.
The cast also includes Valentina Nafornita as Sophie. The Moldovan soprano look lovely in Lena Hoschek cocktail gown. This dress is strapless with golden lace overlay throughout; the skirt has an asymmetrical hem that extends at back.
