A look at the New Year’s Concerts

Let’s celebrate the beginning of the year 2016 with a series of concerts in all theaters of the world!

Soprano Olga Peretyatko joins conductor Daniele Gatti and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra in a concert dedicated to the Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi at Shanghai Symphony Hall. The Russian primadonna wears a red cocktail dress by Pronovias. Long gauze, flared empire dress draped bodice with sweet heart neckline and 3/4 sleeves. Sheer back decorated with lace appliques, vertical ruffle on the center of the skirt.

The New Year’s concert of the Arena di Verona respects the tradition that heralds the transition from the old to the new year, dipping it in the ideal climate of joyful celebration. The opera arias are masterfully played by Jessica Pratt. The Australian soprano changed dress for three times during the concert! Elegant in a long black velvet column dress illuminated by a long black stole with silver embroidery.

At Kimmel Center’s Verizon Hall, Verdi is again the star of the arias sung by Angela Meade accompanied by the conducted by Yannik Nézet-Séguin. The American soprano wears an elegant dress in royal blue duchesse silk with a wide skirt, tight bodice, V neckline and 3/4 sleeves.
