The grand finale of the world’s most celebrated classical music festival was held on September 12 in London. Pianist Benjamin Grosvenor, soprano Danielle de Niese, tenor Jonas Kaufmann conducted by Marin Alsop are the stars at this year’s Last Night of the Proms at Royal Albert Hall. Among composers featured are Shostakovich, Strauss and Puccini.
For soprano Danielle de Niese was a challenge: she is booked to sing at the Proms in the Park concert before dashing over to the Royal Albert Hall for her starring role in the biggest night of the classical calendar.
For her appearance at the Proms in the Hyde Park, Danielle wore a Vivienne Westwood Gold Label red paillette-embellished corset dress.
All jewelry by Van Cleef and Arpels. “Socrate” earrings designed as a dimensional cluster of small diamond-set flowers, set with round-cut diamonds and collier “Folie des Prés” in white gold with diamonds forming flowers patterns.
For the concert at Royal Albert Hall, the soprano still chose a Vivienne Weswood creations: a plunging purple strapless gown with a tartan bolero. Fantastic Diva Danni!
