Among the primadonnas more present at the 93° Arena di Verona Opera Festival there is certainly Maria Josè Siri. The Uruguayan soprano debuted as Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni on July 4 and she will sing her 100 Verdi’s Aida on the evening of July 19.
A few days before Don Giovanni’s opening night, Maria Josè and Alex Esposito (as Leporello) have granted a television interview for RAI. In this occasion the singer wore an orange silk print dress Mosaic collection by Dolce Gabbana. Translating crafted frescoes and mosaic art onto print, the effect as a whole collection resounds in the remembrance of a rich and medieval time with Islamic and Byzantine references.
During the party after the opening night, Maria Josè wore a green one-shoulder dress with flowing sleeve by Flavio Castellani and sparkling silver sandals by Bottero.
