The magazine Opera News, April 2015 issue, dedicates a long interview with the eclectic French artist Patricia Petibon.
After her success as La seconde fille in Philippe Boesmans’s “Au Monde” at Opera Comique on February, this summer, the soprano will go to the Aix-en-Provence festival for the third time, to sing the title role in Handel’s Alcina under the direction of Katie Mitchell and musical direction of Andrea Marcon.
The photo-shoot by Fernando Pinheiro shows Patricia in excellent form with outfits of great taste.
In the cover photo Patricia wears a evening gown by Lanvin. Lanvin once again recounts the fairy-tale vision that personifies its Parisian sartorial heritage with this decadent gown: black bonded twill bodice, ivory white Duchesse satin skirt, boat neck and peplum cuff; black grosgrain ribbon waist belt with poppy-red silk rose corsage. The outfit is completed by Bulgari Diva earrings in 18 kt pink gold with mother of pearl and pavé diamonds.
A fairytale dress is worn in one of the internal picture.
