What’s your favourite perfume?

My favourite perfume is Serge Lutens La Vierge de fer.

Do you always buy the same perfume or do you like changing and trying something different?

Sometimes I changed but just I’m in love with La Vierge de fer.

What are the reasons why you like it? What do you like about it? Does it bring back any memories? What is it reminiscent of?

I love  La Vierge de fer because I think its mine, maked  for me. I adore the smell of lily and jasmine that emanates from this fragrance. And then…the name of the perfume is fantastic!

How did you discover this perfume? When was the first time you bought it? Where?

La Vierge de fer is the new fragrance by  Serge Lutens. You can buy it in his boutique in Paris, “Salons du Palais Royale”.  So when I was in Paris for Rameau’s “Platee” I bought it.

When do you like wearing it?

Always!

How do you feel when you wear it?

I feel like a little bit of  a virgin…. but strong!

What opera character could wear your perfume? Or which opera character does this perfume bring to your mind?

Jean d’Arc … because La vierge de fer is the Virgin from steal!

La Vierge de Fer (The Iron Maiden) is the newest edition to the Serge Lutens Paris Exclusive Lineup, released in September 2013. La Vierge de Fer, a torture device, was inspired by Picasso’s Le Demoiselles d’Avignon. It references a lily, a flower traditionally associated with the Virgin Mary. Top note: green notes, fruity agreement. Heart notes: lily. Background noted: spicy notes, floral notes.
