No doubt about it: the soprano Pretty Yende is a perfect cover girl! The monthly magazine “Marie Claire South Africa” published an article about her and other nine women (not only from South Africa) and defined them “muses”, because they’ve distinguished themselves in different fields (medicine, poetry, theatre, dance, singing and politics) and are role models for all South African women. The young soprano, voted by the magazine’s readers as their source of inspiration, has been compared to the muse of music Euterpe.

Il mensile “Marie Claire South Africa”, del mese di maggio, ha dedicato a lei e ad altre nove donne, sudafricane e non, un articolo definendole “muse” moderne perchè in vari campi (medicina, poesia, teatro, danza, canto e politica) hanno raggiunto i più alti livelli così da essere esempio per tutte le donne sudafricane. Il giovane soprano, votata dalle lettrici come loro modello d’ispirazione, è stata paragonata dalla rivista ad Euterpe musa della musica.
Pretty, full of enthusiasm, posed for the camera wearing a black silk brocade dress by Dolce e Gabbana – square neckline, spaghetti straps ending in two small bows and flared skirt. Pretty, con l’entusiasmo che la contraddistingue, ha partecipato alla sessione fotografica indossando un abito firmato Dolce e Gabbana: in broccato di seta nero, con scollatura squadrata, spalline sottili terminanti in due piccoli fiocchi e gonna svasata. Un modello dal taglio semplicissimo ma raffinato e perfetto per una giovane donna come lei! Curatissimo il make up firmato da Estèe Lauder e l’acconciatura caratterizzata da uno chignon alto tipo “top knot”. Una bellezza!
