“Guillaume Tell” by G. Rossini in concert form was successfully performed at La Monnaie-De Munt in Brussels. The long and beautiful opera had a great cast, directed by Evelino Pidò; among the singers, the Albanian soprano Ermonela Jaho, who made her debut in the role of Mathilde. On the premiere night, Ms. Jaho (an intense and sensitive artist, acclaimed in all the major theaters of the world) wore two dresses which emphasized her complexion and black hair. The first dress, made of royal blue chiffon royal blue, was by the American designer Sherri Hill. It was characterized by a single shoulder strap, richly decorated, running through the bodice to the waist. The tight bodice was embellished by pleated fabric, while the slightly flared skirt was made of multi-layer chiffon. A very feminine dress! She completed this outfit with Nine West Carlacay platform peep-toes.
Serate di grande successo quelle svoltesi al Theatre La Monnaie-De Munt di Bruxelles in occasione del “Guillaume Tell” di G. Rossini in forma di concerto. La lunga e bellissima opera è stata proposta con un cast di alto livello, diretto dal maestro Evelino Pidò, fra cui faceva il suo debutto, nel ruolo di Mathilde, il soprano albanese Ermonela Jaho. La sera della premiere, la signora Jaho, artista di grande sensibilità ed intensità, acclamata in tutti i più importanti teatri del mondo, ha indossato due abiti i cui colori facevano risaltare la tonalità dorata della sua pelle e quella nera dei capelli. Il primo abito, in chiffon blue royal, è firmato dalla stilista americana Sherri Hill; esso è caratterizzato da una sola spallina, riccamente decorata, che attraversa il corpetto fino al punto vita. Il corpetto, aderente, è movimentato da un’increspatura del tessuto mentre la gonna, leggermente svasata, è formata da vari strati di chiffon. Un modello molto femminile! Di Nine West, i sandali “Carlacay” peep-toe con platform.
Sherri Hill designed the second dress, too – an aqua green chiffon number: strapless, with a slighly oval neckline, the bodice studded with silver beads and very long skirt with short train. The dress highlighted the soprano’s body with a touch of glamour. The silver sandals she wore were by Kenneth Cole. She accessorized both dresses with Swarovski jewellery.
Sempre di Sherri Hill è il secondo abito in chiffon color aqua: senza spalline, con scollatura leggermente curva, corpetto tempestato da perline-gioiello argentate e gonna molto lunga e con piccolo strascico. Un modello che evidenzia la figura femminile con un tocco di glamour. Firmati Kenneth Cole i sandali color argento. Alle due mise si accompagnavano gioielli firmati Swarovsky Jewels.
