A new year is celebrated in many theatres around the world with concerts that often are incredibly successful events because they are broadcast on radio and tv. Back in 2012, Olga Peretyatko was the star of the New Year’s Eve Gala at the Festspielhaus in Baden Baden, along with two opera stars – Rolando Villazón and Thomas Hampson. This year, the Russian soprano shared the stage with the Venezuelan pianist Gabriela Montero to create an original gala of orchestra music, piano solos and soprano arias. For this occasion, Olga wore a Pierre Cardin dress combining elegance, femininity and a touch of retro style. Made of powder pink satin and black chantilly lace, it has a mermaid line which opens on the bottom hem with a series of black tulle ruffles. The strongest element of the dress is the bodice, characterised by a plunging sweetheart neckline combined with a round neck. The shoulders are covered with delicate lace. The accessories chosen to complete the dress were precious jewelry in white gold and diamonds with chain motif, created by Susanne Asbeck for Nomades. Have a great 2014, Olga!
Il passaggio da un Anno all’altro è festeggiato, in molti teatri del mondo, con concerti che spesso sono fra gli avvenimenti musicali più seguiti dal pubblico perchè diffusi dalle emittenti radiofoniche e televisive di molti paesi. Già nel 2012, Olga Peretyatko era stata la stella del Galà di San Silvestro alla Festspielhaus di Baden Baden assieme ad altri due divi della lirica: Rolando Villazon e Thomas Hampson. Quest’anno il soprano russo ha condiviso il palcoscenico con la pianista venezuelana Gabriela Montero per creare un variegato Galà di musica per orchestra, solo pianoforte, arie per soprano. Per questa occasione di festa e musica, Olga ha scelto un abito – firmato Pierre Cardin – che unisce eleganza, femminilità e un tocco retrò. Realizzato in raso color cipria e pizzo chantilly nero, l’abito con taglio a sirena aderisce sulla figura della cantante aprendosi, sul fondo, in una corolla di balze in tulle nero. Il vero “coup de theatre” è la parte superiore del vestito sottolineata da una profonda scollatura a cuore che si chiude a girocollo. Le spalle vengono coperte con delicatezza dal pizzo mentre il decollètè acquista importanza. Ad accompagnare l’abito, ricercartissimi monili in oro bianco e diamanti con motivo a catena, creati da Susanne Asbeck per Nomades. Buon Anno 2014, Olga!
