Hollywood, the capital of cinema, has always had a peculiar charm in the collective imagination, associated with the memories that everyone has of her/his favorite masterpieces, evocative of a city full of creative ideas. On the first week of November Hollywood hosted the annual AFI FEST, organized by the American Film Institute – a major “showcase” for the best films of the season but also an opportunity for filmmakers and emerging artists. This year, the festival paid homage to a great master of Italian cinema, Bernardo Bertolucci, with the premiere of the restored masterpiece “The Last Emperor ” (3-D version), first released 25 years ago. Among the attendees who celebrated the master Bertolucci at the historic TLC Chinese Theatre, the Italian diva Carmen Giannattasio, who is a great cinema fan. The soprano walked the red carpet wearing a pastel outfit which looked just right for the spring-like Los Angeles weather. The Escada look included a pleated skirt and printed silk camisole, worn with a matching cashmere cardigan by Suhasi with a v neckline. Her accessories included a Just Cavalli studded perforated clutch and peep-toe pumps from the Valentino “Rockstud” collection.
Capitale mondiale del cinema, Hollywood ha da sempre un fascino particolare nell’immaginario collettivo, fascino associato ai ricordi che ognuno di noi ha dei capolavori preferiti della cinematografia, evocativo di un’idea di città piena di stimoli creativi. Nella prima settimana di novembre, si è tenuto l’annuale AFI FEST organizzato dall’ American Film Institute: un’importante “vetrina” per i migliori film della stagione ma anche un’opportunità per registi ed artisti emergenti. Quest’anno il festival ha reso omaggio ad un grande maestro del cinema italiano e mondiale, Bernardo Bertolucci, con la prima proiezione restaurata ed in 3D del capolavoro “L’ultimo imperatore”, uscito ben 25 anni fa. A festeggiare il maestro Bertolucci, nello storico TCL Chinese Theatre, una diva italiana: Carmen Giannattasio, grande amante del cinema. Per sfilare sul red carpet, il soprano ha scelto una mise dai colori pastello, fresca, primaverile come il tempo di Los Angeles. Firmato Escada, il due pezzi composto da gonna a pieghe e camiciola in seta stampata coordinato con il cardigan Suhasi in cashmere dalla profonda scollatura a V. E poi una pochette in pelle traforata con borchie, firmata Just Cavalli e scarpe peep-toe collezione “Rockstud” di Valentino.
A few days later, she walked another red carpet, this time for the premiere of the film “Instructions not included” by Eugenio Derbez, held at the Linwood Dunn Theater. Carmen wore an M Missoni crochet-knit mini dress in metallic shades of yellow, purple and grey accompanied, paired to a heather grey cardigan. She added purple suede shoes. More than a diva!
Pochi giorni dopo e un altro red carpet, questa volta per la premiere del film “Instructions not included” di Eugenio Derbez. Al Linwood Dunn Theatre, Carmen la diva si e’ presentata con un coordinato firmato M Missoni: miniabito in maglia crochet con riflessi metallici, giocato sulle tonalita’ del giallo, viola e grigio accompagnato da un cardigan grigio melange. Su tutto risaltavano le scarpe in suede color viola. Piu’ diva di cosi!!
