Sondra Radvanovsky for OperaNews

In November the magazine OperaNews has published an interview with Sondra Radvanovsky, considered the Verdi soprano par excellence, applauded in every theater in the world and among the leading artists of the Metropolitan Opera House (this year she will be the protagonist of “Norma” by V. Bellini and “Tosca” by G. Puccini there). The article is completed by photographs of James Salzano where the American diva appears in all her grace. If you want to wear two long strands of rosé pearls – created by Tamsen Z, Sondra’s favourite jeweller in New York – you must wear the right dress. That’s why the diva has chosen an evening number designed by the Venezuelan designer Angel Sanchez: made of peacock blue silk faille, it enhances the body and has an asymmetrical flower on the bodice.

Bellini e ” Tosca” di G. Puccini. L’articolo della rivista è corredato da alcune fotografie di James Salzano, in cui la diva americana appare in tutto il suo splendore. Per indossare due lunghissimi fili di perle dai riflessi rosati – creati da Tamsen Z, la gioielleria newyorkese preferita da Sondra – bisogna avere un abito che valorizzi le perle; ecco che la diva ha scelto un vestito da sera firmato dallo stilista venezuelano Angel Sanchez: in faille di seta “blu pavone”, aderente alla figura, con grande fiore asimmetrico sul corpetto.

The second dress – worn with Tamsen Z ring and earrings made of diamonds and kyanite – is by Mark Badgley and James Mischka: made of sapphire blue chiffon, it has a ruffled sweetheart neckline, pleated bodice and skirt. A style that enhances the femininity of the diva!

Il secondo abito – indossato con una parure anello e orecchini in diamanti e kyanite sempre creazioni di Tamsen Z – è firmato dai due fashion designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka: in chiffon blu zaffiro, con scollatura a cuore su cui sono applicate delle ruches che continuano sul corpetto pieghettato e sulla parte centrale della lunga gonna. Un modello che esalta la femminilità della diva!
