The Salzburg Festival closed the 2013 season with a gala dinner and a ball, which took place on September 1st. The theme of the evening was the rose, inspired to a pastel drawing by the 18th-century French painter J.P. Redouté. The rose appeared on all the floral decorations of the festival, made of beautiful roses and other flowers in pastel colors, as well as on the aprons of the 48 debutantes, who wore outfits in perfect Austrian style by Dorothea Nicolai, head costume designer of the festival. Needless to say, all the upper-class Salzburg attended the ball, but a few were the opera stars in attendance. Among these, the ever-charming Mariotti-Peretyatko couple. The “Lucio Silla” star was very elegant in a dress custom-made by a Berlin atelier: made of cerulean blue silk, it had a sleek line, the waist accented by a wide band, the neckline emphasized by a turtleneck and a large soft side bow. The accessories included a KaDeWe satin clutch with a small bow in a blue shade which matched the dress. Great taste, Olga!
Il Salzburger Festspiele ha chiuso la stagione 2013 con una cena di gala e un ballo, tenutisi la sera del primo settembre. Motivo dominante dell’evento è stato quello della rosa, tratto dal disegno a pastello del pittore settecentesco francese J.P. Redouté. Esso è stato proposto su tutte le decorazioni (splendide quelle floreali con rose e altri fiori nei colori pastello) della festa oltre che sui grembiuli delle 48 debuttanti i cui abiti, in perfetto stile tradizionale austriaco, sono stati creati da Dorothea Nicolai, capo costumista del festival. Nemmeno a dirlo, tutta l’high class salisburghese se non anche austriaca ha partecipato al ballo mentre poche, per la verità, sono state le star dell’opera lirica. Fra queste si è evidenziata la coppia Mariotti-Peretyatko. Elegantissima la star del “Lucio Silla”, in un abito realizzato appositamente da un atelier di Berlino: in seta color blu ceruleo, l’abito dal taglio scivolato con alta fascia ton sur ton in vita, termina in un elegante collo alto caratterizzato da un grande e morbido fiocco laterale. A completare la mise, una pochette in raso con piccolo fiocco, della stessa tonalità blu dell’abito, firmata KaDeWeBerlin.
