Pretty’s happiness – La felicità di Pretty

Every now and then fashion magazines honour a soprano! This is the case of Glamour South Africa which appointed the soprano Pretty Yende “Woman of the Year in the Arts in 2013.” For the ceremony, the young but already acclaimed soprano, wore a frothy cocktail dress made of doubled yellow fabric; the empire line was emphasized by matching woven thin ribbons. The outfit was completed by pink and gold open-toe pumps.

Long live the colour yellow, then! A shade expressing Pretty’s happiness in this joyful occasion.

Ogni tanto anche le riviste di moda premiano un soprano! E’ questo il caso di Glamour South Africa che ha nominato il soprano Pretty Yende “The woman of the Year in the Arts 2013”. Per la premiazione, la giovane ma già acclamata soprano, ha indossato un vaporoso abito da cocktail in doppio tessuto di colore giallo; la linea impero è evidenziata da sottili nastri intrecciati fra loro ton sur ton. Completano l’outfit un paio di open-toe color cipria ed oro.
